On Friday, June 26 at approximately 3:04PM, a strong arm robbery occurred in the lobby of the Bank of America located at 955 El Camino Real in South San Francisco. The victim was standing in line at the bank with multiple deposit bags from a nearby business. The suspect walked up behind the victim, grabbed the deposit bags and ran from the bank to an awaiting vehicle waiting in the parking lot with an unknown driver. The vehicle sped out of the parking lot south on El Camino Real towards San Bruno. The suspect is described as a Black male adult, thin build, approximately 6 feet in height, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a red cap. The suspect vehicle was described as a charcoal grey compact vehicle (possible a Honda) with tinted windows. The loss was an undisclosed amount of cash and checks.

We were there when it happened…suddenly screaming and the guy had grabbed the merchants bags and ran so fast…my husband chased after him but there was a car waiting and they took off. I hope they catch him!
