The South San Francisco Unified School District Board of Trustees and Dr. Shawnterra Moore have agreed on a three-year contract for her to become the District’s new Superintendent. Dr. Moore had been serving as the District’s Associate Superintendent of Educational Services and Categorical Programs. Her new contract, approved by the Trustees July 23, will pay her $185,000 in the first year; future raises will be based on increases for other District employees and an annual performance evaluation. The contract includes a variety of fringe benefits as well.
Dr. Moore replaces Alejandro Hogan who resigned this past spring.
