South San Francisco, CA October 20, 2015 Submitted by Samaritan House
Halloween will be a lot more fun for more than 300 San Mateo children, thanks to Samaritan House’s annual Halloween Costume Giveaway. Tomorrow, October 21, 2015, from 2 – 5 pm, hundreds of children and parents will enjoy food, treats music and fun while they pick out their costume.
This adorable photo opportunity will be held inside the Kids’ Closet, Samaritan House’s free clothing for children program. Each child will go home with the Halloween costume of their choice.
Eligible children include kids in grades K-12 whose families are registered to utilize services at Samaritan House.
Samaritan House is grateful for the generous support of three of the major supporters of the Halloween Costume Giveaway: National Charity League, Young Men’s Service League, St. Gregory’s Catholic School, and students from West Hillsborough Elementary School.
Halloween costume donations are still needed for fifty children! Costume donations are needed as soon as possible, but will continue to be collected after the event and given to children via our Kid’s Closet. They can be dropped off between 9 am and 5 pm on the third floor of the main office, 4031 Pacific Boulevard, 3rd floor, in San Mateo. Donation receipts will be happily provided.
