Many neighbors have received new electronics over the holidays and the Community Preservation Task Force will host an E-waste event to help dispose of used devices properly.
Help clean the environment and dispose of all your unwanted electronic waste, including small and large appliances, safely and FREE OF CHARGE, working or not. The SSFFD and ZARC will be hosting this event; a portion of the proceeds from this event will go to the South San Francisco Community Preservation Task Force (CPTF); a group of volunteers which organizes various events including clean-ups and tree planting events, all in an effort to preserve our communities.
DATES & Time: January 8, 2016 (Friday) & January 9, 2016 (Saturday) 9:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.
Location: SSFFD Station 61 – 480 N. Canal Street (between Spruce and Linden Avenues)

About the SSF Community Preservation Task Force:
The Community Preservation Task Force (CPTF) is a volunteer group consisting of neighbors and business leaders working under the Fire Administration and under the direction of Tom Carney who can be reached at 867.5130 or email Tom.Carney@ssf.net for more information.
The CPTF meet monthly on the second Wednesday of the month in the Betty Weber room at the MSB 33 Arroyo Drive for a working lunch at 11:30-1pm. The public is welcomed and encouraged to join in on the many events sponsored by the CPTF including E-Waste events. More information on this program please click HERE.
