Support Our Deployed Troops – Send a Bit of Home to Them!

The Pacifica American Legion is sending CARE PACKAGES to deployed troops on June 25th at 1pm. If you are deployed and want a care package or you know of a deployed friend or family member wanting one, email me their name and address CLICK HERE

 
Don’t know anyone deployed, but want to donate? We have a collection canister inside City Arms Gun Shop in Eureka Square Shopping Center that you can drop off the following items to prior to 5pm on June 23rd (they are closed on Sunday and Monday):

 
Beef Jerky, Granola breakfast bars, Slim Jims, Boxes of individual powder drink flavors for water bottles, Tuna in foil packets, toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving cream, shampoo, conditioner, disposable razors, deodorant, batteries (all sizes), word search magazines, playing cards, individually packaged snack foods such as nuts, gummy bears, rice krispy treats, gum, breath mints (COSTCO is a great place to pick these up), gallon size and sandwich size zip lock bags to put shampoos and conditioners into to prevent leakage. No glass items, no chocolate, no pork products.

Thank you for this!! when i was deployed for desert storm, i remembered how much mail we received that was marked “to any soldier” it made me cry seeing how much the country cared for us, it was truly wonderful for us to see. THANK YOU!! -Gunther Garzaro
