The San Francisco Wine School has set the sails in motion as they head out to sea July 7 through 16 on a Wine Education Cruise to Italy and Croatia with award winning Master Sommelier David Glancy. This small ship Mediterranean Cruise will be packed with much to do as the informational flyers describe below.
“We are very excited about this trip and are thrilled to be able to share the experience with others.”said Kristin Campbell, Chief Operation Officer of SF Wine School. “Note there is a ship-wide rate reduction going on thru Feb 28th where rooms begin at just $2900 and ocean views are available for $3200 and we still have a few spaces open.”
Master Sommelier David Glancy is leading an intimate group of wine students & enthusiasts aboard the Azamara Quest traveling from Rome around the boot to Venice with 2 stops in Croatia. The grand finale will be in Venice at the Redentore Festival where we’ll watch their world famous fireworks display bursting above the Church of Redentore from the ship decks right there in the harbor. During the trip, David will be conducting many private group experiences including:
- a very special sparkling wine welcome reception
- a regional edu-tasting exploring the key producers and native grapes from our travels
- many informal lounge tastings throughout the cruise
- a food & wine “playing” private dining experience
- one or more shore excursions
