On 03/21/18 at 8:05 PM, a male victim and female victim were waiting for the bus on the comer of Linden Avenue at California Avenue with their two children when they were approached by three masked suspects. One of the suspects brandished a knife and demanded the male victim give him all of his money. When the victim refused, the suspect punched the victim in the face, causing the victim to fall to the ground. Two of the suspects then began punching and kicking the male victim. The third suspect pulled jewelry off of the female victim’s neck, and then joined the other two suspects in punching and kicking the male victim. The suspects took the male victim’s wallet from his person before fleeing on foot westbound on California Avenue.
The suspect that brandished the knife at the victim was described as a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black bandana around his face. The other two suspects were described as male subjects wearing black hooded sweatshirts and black ski masks on their face.

But our City and State officials want us on public transportation. Wait for a bus, get robbed, ride Bart, get robbed. Travel on Centennial trail, get robbed. Park you vehicle at Bart or Caltrain, get robbed. I must admit that people do not get robbed on Caltrain however. That’s a plus I guess!
