Around 10:56 PM, on Wednesday March 28, 2018, a couple was walking their dog along the 400 block of B Street when they were approached by an unknown subject dressed all in black and wearing a mask. The suspect knocked the woman to the ground and then punched the male victim several times. The suspect stole the male victim’s backpack and fled the scene on foot from B Street towards West Orange Avenue. The male victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Residents in the area with security cameras are encouraged to check their footage to see if anyone matching the suspect description can be seen. Anyone who may have witnessed the crime is encouraged to call the Police Department at 650-877-8900.
