The Improving Public Places Committee is a group of people sharing a common vision of beautifying various public places in South San Francisco. These places include City parks and facilities, as well as other highly visible public areas within the City.
In order to fulfill our vision we need volunteers like you, whether you can donate your time for one day, for a project, or for ongoing maintenance to beautify and improve public places!
Please join us for a planting event – volunteers are needed!
When: Saturday, February 23
Where: City Hall 400 Grand Avenue
Time: 9:0 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Bring: gloves and trowel if you have them
Parking is available in the City Hall lot on Miller Avenue Light refreshments will be served.
If rain is expected, please call 650-829-7222 ext 1530 after 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 22 to hear a voicemail message confirming if the planting is on or off.
