South San Francisco, CA March 16, 2019 Submitted by SMC Supervisor Canepa’s Office
The third annual District 5 Together culture and resource fair will resume this year at Jefferson High School Saturday, March 30th in Daly City. The event this year will showcase the greatest “old school” DJs from the late 1980s and ‘90s combined with a younger crop of DJs who are currently emerging in north San Mateo County for entertainment.
It will also be a platform to promote the county’s effort related to Census 2020. We need to ensure that every resident in the county is counted, young and old, so that we secure the federal dollars needed to provide critical health care, public safety and food assistance to those most in need.
The fair will also feature about 50 resource tables from various organizations, county departments and nonprofits to educate the public on various services they may be eligible for. The fair will also feature Irish dancers, a youth orchestra and food prepared by various Jefferson High School clubs. The event is free to the public and is an incredibly family-friendly event. Call County Supervisor David Canepa’s office at (650) 363-4572 to learn more.
The event runs from 11am – 4pm at Jefferson High School 6996 Mission Street Daly City
