Eli Jimenez, BS in Health Education: Eli is a recent graduate from SFSU and is a Research Assistant (RA) at UCSF. This is the second summer as an RA and is committed to contribute to her community in San Francisco and South City. Dr. Martinez and Eli are currently recruiting families to participate in a 3-week study that focuses on Mexican/Mexican-American children. Suzanna M. Martinez, MS, PhD: Dr. Martinez is an Assistant Researcher at the Nutrition Policy Institute, Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources, University of California & Adjunct Project Scientist at the University of California, San Diego. Her research interests include nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and obesity among Latino children, and food insecurity among UC college students. Her career goal is to conduct research that makes an impact on reducing health disparities and chronic disease in vulnerable populations.
