On Saturday, November 23rd, the City will host a composting workshop to teach people how to turn vegetable and fruit scraps, egg shells, leaves and plant cuttings into compost. Compost provides valuable nutrients for your garden soil, helps retain moisture, and suppresses weeds. The workshop will start at 10 a.m. at the Millbrae Community Garden (478 Lincoln Circle), or the Millbrae Community Center (behind City Hall) if it rains. For more information, please call (888) 442-2666.
