BDW’s Annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Fair is THIS SATURDAY, 12/14, at Mission Blue Center in Brisbane.
This is the 10th year anniversary of this event!
BDW stands for Brisbane Dance Workshop, a local nonprofit that has been teaching dance, voice and theater arts to kids in Brisbane and the surrounding communities for 35 years. This fair is one of our main fundraisers of the year. What’s in store if you attend?…
There will be more than 30 local artists and crafters selling their handmade items and/or designs. If you go to our Fair’s FB page and like/follow it, you will get updates about the fair as well as see participating vendor spotlights. I am about 2/3 through with vendor posts. Silverspot Cooperative Nursery School, another Brisbane Non-Profit Organization, also has a fundraiser within our fundraiser – they run the Santa Photo Studio in the Lupine Room. Bring your kids, your family, your significant other, your pets… whoever you’d like in your holiday photo!
We’ll also have live music throughout the day with lots of local musicians performing (see the line-up on our FB page).
And… our concessions stand… the proceeds of which all goes back to BDW. We’ll have lots of sweet and savory treats, refreshing and seasonal drinks, as well as some great meal items, like Italian Sausage Soup, a variety of peasant pies, meat and vegetarian chili, nachos and cheese and more! Come grab a bite and a table in front of the live music for some local holiday fun!
Oh… and there’s a raffle too. Baskets filled with handmade items donated by each vendor.
Really, it’s all just too much fun to miss! We hope to see you there!!! ♥
