Residents from South San Francisco, San Bruno, and Brisbane that are in need of basic food items, while being sheltered in place, are encouraged to attend this Wednesday’s food distribution event set for 10am-noon at the Orange Park Boys & Girls Club house ( 201 W. Orange Ave). This drive through offering is being hosted by Hope Ministries, YMCA Community Resource Center, and Second Harvest Food Bank and participants will be served on a first-come, first-served basis; no pre-registration, or proof of need, is required, and no one will be turned away.
Food items will include produce, dairy items, protein, and grains/other shelf-stable items. Please share this information with those in need.

Is this “walk up” as well? I don’t have a car but live around the corner
Hi Gina, While this is first come, first serve, we’ve been told no one will be turned away. You may want to call the YMCA to see how you might be served, and not have to stand in a line.
