Living in such uncertain times has brought about stress to most of us, and even more so those who work the COVID-19 ‘front line’. And while virus cases have not overwhelmed Kaiser, there is always that feeling of concern and it is greatly appreciated when those in our community keep that in mind.
Taking it a step further is Lina and JImmy Sheteya, owners of Luigi’s Sandwich Palace, who wanted to put their appreciation into action; they surprised the ER Department at Kaiser with lunch for all and were delighted to receive a letter of appreciation come back to them.
These Mom and Pop businesses are the backbones of our community, business has been tough for them all, yet they continue to reach out to help where they can. Let’s bring this full circle and show our appreciation by making it a point to order lunch from them one day this week!
We salute the Sheteya’s for their generosity during these tough times.
Please be sure to support those who support our community!
