CIVIC CAMPUS: POLICE OPERATIONS & 911 DISPATCH CENTER (900 Antoinette Lane) site of former Pet Club

Pavement restoration work is scheduled along the project’s frontage on Chestnut Avenue between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. on Monday, June 28, and Wednesday, June 30. Work will result in lane closures IN BOTH LANES along Chestnut Avenue between El Camino Real and Mission Road as work is underway. Work will occur at night to help minimize impacts to travel. Commuters can expect delays. Chestnut Avenue will remain open but will be reduced to a single lane of travel in both the eastbound and westbound directions. Pedestrians are encouraged to use alternate routes. Please always follow signage and safety personnel instructions. Construction flaggers will be deployed to assist with traffic control

 

INFRASTRUCTURE FIBER PROJECT (Airport Boulevard between Baden Avenue and Grand Avenue)
Utility installation resumes Tuesday, June 29 through Friday, July 9 along southbound Airport Boulevard between Baden Avenue and Grand Avenue. Due to the location of work and impacts to Airport Boulevard, the contractor is working between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. to help minimize impacts to travel. Multiple lane closures along Airport Boulevard are expected as work is underway. Commuters can expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

LINDEN AVENUE PHASE 2 AND SPRUCE AVENUE TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES (Linden Avenue between Miller Ave and California Ave)
Work will resume along Linden Avenue with the pavement restoration work at three intersections (California Avenue, Lux Avenue, and Miller Avenue) between Monday, June 28, and Friday, July 2. This pavement restoration work will result in street parking impacts and limited access along Linden Avenue as work is underway. Temporary “No Parking” signs are deployed noticing impacted sections. This work is scheduled to occur between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily

  • Pavement Surface Removal at all three (3) intersections
Tuesday, June 29
  • Install Traffic Signal Vehicle Detectors at Miller intersection
  • Paving at California/Linden Ave intersection
Wednesday, June 30
  • Paving at Lux/Linden Ave intersection
Thursday, July 1
  • Paving at Miller/Linden Ave intersection
Friday, July 2
  • Clean Up work
Access along Linden Avenue for emergency vehicles and bus service will be maintained however, minor delays or detours are expected for all other traffic.

it’s too bad the Tiechert construction at Oyster Point keeps shitting off power and water to all those with boats, public restrooms along the bay trail and more almost daily. Why the city and harbor district do not force proper work conditions and public services to support these bad situations for the public and boaters.
