Recently there has been information circulating on social media about a potential attempted kidnapping near a local store on El Camino Real in South San Francisco. The flyer also states this attempt was for sex trafficking. We have contacted police to learn more so we could ensure our community has updated information.
A report was made to SSFPD regarding a suspected incident that has not yielded any evidence to support any threat to public safety, and this remains under investigation.
That said, always trust your gut and when in doubt, call 911.
