Frequently Asked Questions

How much stuff can I drop off?
*Please limit your free junk drop-off to three (3) garbage bags (32 gallon size) and no items heavier than 50 pounds. You are not required to bag your items.

At this event, we will NOT be able to accept large items (like couches and refrigerators), construction and demolition debris, dirt, sod, concrete and rocks.

If you have more items you want to drop off, we can provide an estimate on-site. Or you can book an appointment for junk removal. (Remember to get a discount coupon at the event!)

Please Note: We cannot take treated wood or hazardous materials. Too spooky!

Why is Junk King having the Haul-o-ween community event?
We enjoy giving back to our community. The Haul-o-ween event allows us to show our commitment and service to our community. During the event, we’ll also give out discount coupons so you can save money on your next junk pickup and removal.

What happens to the stuff I drop off?
We do our best to recycle, reuse, or donate as much as we can. Typically, we recycle up to 60% of everything we haul. The remaining items go to the landfill.
