Rafael Gomez, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather died peacefully on February 8, 2022 at the age of 86.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Gomez; his children Rosamaria Gomez, Veronica (Alfonso) Herrera, Guadalupe (Nicolas) Ruiz, Rafael (Alexis) Gomez Jr., Jose (Karen) Gomez. Devoted grandfather to Ariana, Gilberto, Anthony, Maribel, Abram, Gabriela, Savannah, Camila, Julian, Julissa, Soraya, Santiago. Great-grandfather to Adriel, Eliana, Ezekiel.

A resident of South San Francisco for 56 years and a native of Ayutla, Jalisco, Mexico. A devout Catholic and member of All Souls Catholic Church. He will be remembered as a great man of enduring courage and faith, with a great sense of humor.

Family and friends are invited to attend the vigil services on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 5-7pm with rosary at 7pm at Garden Chapel 885 El Camino Real, South San Francisco. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 10am at All Souls Catholic Church 315 Walnut Avenue, South San Francisco. Committal at Holy Cross Cemetery.
