Mary E. Mercurio, 66, passed away February 25, 2022. Mary was born in San Francisco, raised in South San Francisco, and resided in both communities throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Albert and Josephine Mercurio, and her brother, Anthony Mercurio. Mary was the fond sister-in-law of Lucy Mercurio and devoted aunt to nephews Peter (Ann) Mercurio, David Mercurio, and niece, Deanna Mercurio. She was also cherished by her great nieces and nephews. Mary was a very special person, additionally loved by the many friends she made throughout her life. She will be dearly missed.
Mary worked in the San Francisco Arts and Sports world for the SF Civic Light Opera, SF 49ers, and was a beloved Patron Services Representative for the SF Symphony for 40 years.
Private burial services will be held at Holy Cross in Colma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of your choice or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Inc. A Celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
