Hector V. Arce, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the age of 77. Hector was born to Eloisa and Librado Arce on July 1, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas in which he was raised until he was 13 years old. Hector then moved to South San Francisco where he has lived ever since. He attended Spruce and graduated from South San Francisco High School. He soon later enlisted into the United States Army in 1963. He served six years in the military and was a proud Vietnam Vet at the end of his term in 1969.

Hector is survived by his wife, the love of his life for 46 cherished years, Rose Marie Arce, daughter Christina Bonite and son in law Andre Bonite, daughter Diana Arce and Mark Fields, and granddaughters Mariana and Isabella.

To those who knew him, Hector had a very witty sense of humor, loved to make jokes and always wanted to be around laughing with his friends and family. He traditionally loved to make tamales year after year so he could shower everyone around him with his caring heart. Hector also loved traveling to Reno to play his favorite game Pai Gow. The most important thing in Hector’s life was his family and his love he had for his wife Rosie. They were both each other’s best friend. Hector will always be a special piece in everyone’s heart.
