Plastic bags, wrap, mailing envelopes, and similar “film plastics” belong in your grey Garbage cart only. This includes those labeled “recyclable” or “compostable”— even liner bags.
When placed in your blue or green cart, film plastics are a contaminant that cause equipment breakdowns, and degrade the value of processed organics and recyclables.
