MUTUAL AID ASSISTANCE: Yesterday, a neighboring agency was in pursuit of a stolen vehicle in the City of South San Francisco. The driver then lost control of the stolen vehicle on Mission Road near Grand Avenue. The driver and passenger, both 17 year old residents of South San Francisco, immediately exited the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene on foot. Responding South San Francisco Police Officers located the passenger a short distance away on Mission Road. Officers continued searching the area and the driver was eventually located hiding behind several trash bins at an apartment complex on the 1000 block of Mission Road.
Great job by all involved and thankfully no one was injured by this reckless teenage driver.

DRUG SALES / FELON IN POSSESSION OF A REPLICA FIREARM ARREST – Last night a 34 year old male from Redwood City was contacted during a traffic stop near South Airport Boulevard at North Access Road. During contact, a stun gun was observed inside the vehicle next to the male, who was a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing one. A search of the vehicle also revealed drug paraphernalia, a replica .357 snub nose revolver pellet gun, a significant amount suspected methamphetamine, and two digital scales. The male was subsequently arrested and booked into the San Mateo County jail.
