STOLEN VEHICLE / FRAUD / POSSESSION OF BURGLARY TOOLS ARREST – On Sunday night our officers were notified by our Automated License Plate Recognition Cameras of a stolen vehicle. They located the stolen vehicle, unoccupied on Greendale Drive and safely detained a 18-year-old male from SSF and a 16-year-old male from Daly City. Miscellaneous identification and credit cards belonging to others, as well as, burglary tools were located in their possession. Both subjects were arrested and booked into jail and the juvenile detention center.
Yet another assist by our new cameras in helping us apprehend suspects and keep our community safe.
January 24th, 2023
GHOST GUN ARREST– Last night our officers responded to a residence on the 300 block of Dolores Way regarding a disturbance. When they arrived officers contacted a 27-year-old male from South San Francisco who had firearm concealed on his person. The male was safely detained and the firearm was recovered. The firearm was determined to be a “ghost gun”. The male was arrested for firearm-related charges and booked into San Mateo County jail.
January 22nd, 2023
ARRESTS FOR STOLEN VEHICLE / POSSESSION OF BURGLARY TOOLS AND DRUGS / WARRANTS: Last night, our Officers were notified by our Automated License Plate Recognition Cameras of a stolen vehicle in the area of South Airport Boulevard. Officers found the vehicle in the drive-thru line of local fast-food restaurant. A high-risk stop was completed and both suspects (43-year-old female from Vallejo and 48-year-old female from Richmond) were safely taken into custody.
The female suspect from Vallejo was found to have two warrants for her arrest for Evading Police and Hit and Run and was in possession of burglary tools, drugs, drug paraphernalia and property belonging to others. The female suspect from Richmond was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Huge thank you to our new cameras for this amazing technology and to our graveyard crew for finding the stolen vehicle and taking these suspects into custody!!
