ARMED BANK ROBBERY ARREST – The South San Francisco Police Department investigated two armed bank robberies that occurred on November 28, 2022, and December 28, 2022, at a bank located on the 100 block of McLellan Drive.
During both incidents, the suspect displayed a semi-automatic pistol, later determined to be a replica, and demanded money from the employee before fleeing the bank on foot. Investigators assigned to the case identified the suspect from both robberies as a 48-year-old male from San Francisco and took him into custody on January 19, 2023, in Daly City. The male suspect was booked at the San Mateo County
Jail for two counts of Armed Robbery.

DRUG SALES ARREST – Last night, our officers contacted a 42-year-old female from San Leandro during a traffic stop for vehicle code violations. A probation search revealed she was in possession of a large amount of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The female was subsequently arrested and booked into the San Mateo County jail.
