SSFPD Media Release: Armed Bank Robbery – Arrest (by SSFPD)

The South San Francisco Police Department investigated two armed bank robberies that occurred on November 28, 2022, and December 28, 2022 at a bank located on the 100 block of Mclellan Drive. During both incidents, the suspect displayed a semi-automatic pistol, later determined to be a replica, and demanded money from the employee before fleeing the bank on foot. Investigators assigned to the case identified the suspect from both robberies as Damion Shoemaker of San Francisco and took him into custody on January 19, 2023, in Daly City. Shoemaker was booked at the San Mateo County Jail for two counts of 212.5 (c) P.C., Armed Robbery.
