I’m and SSF native born and raised grew up through parks and rec and now raise my sons in this city.

I grew up three houses down from the old west Orange library it was a special place to me and my family. I still remember when they had pyramids in the parking lot we used to slide down on cardboard. It’s where I learned to ride a bike and taught my son to ride a bike without training wheels there as well.

My family and I are absolutely devastated about the move to the newer eye sore of a building on El Camino Real. Please let us know what is going to be done with the old building. We hope it’s not getting torn down.

There isn’t anything stated anywhere about why the move happened or what is intended for the very beautiful old library location.
