South San Francisco, CA July 17, 2023 Press Release
On Wednesday, July 12th, 2023 at approximately 10:28 AM, an armed robbery occurred at a convenience store, located on the 1100 block of Mission Road in South San Francisco. During the robbery, the suspect brandished a knife at the clerk, before fleeing with the stolen items.
Officers obtained video surveillance and were able to identify the suspect as 30-year-old Cole Behan of Eureka from prior police contacts.
On Saturday, July 15th, 2023 officers began searching nearby areas that Behan was known to frequent and subsequently located him in the area of Junipero Serra Boulevard and Southgate Avenue in Daly City. Behan was placed under arrest and booked into the San Mateo County Jail on the charges of 212.5(c) PC- Armed Robbery and 21310 PC- Carry Concealed Dirk or Dagger
