EL Camino Real between Arroyo & Kaiser Construction Update

El CAMINO REAL (Between Arroyo Dr. and Kaiser Way)

Improvements continue along El Camino Real between Arroyo Drive and Kaiser Way as part of the Grand Boulevard project which includes improvements to sidewalks, planting, roadway, lighting, and landscaping. Work is currently focused along the median of El Camino Real and Del Paso Drive. Minor lane shifts will be deployed as work is underway along El Camino Real. Pedestrian detour signage when required will be deployed, noting a safe path of travel around the work area. Drivers can expect minor delays. Please always follow the signs and safety personnel instructions.

The best improvement that could be made to that area would be to construct a street street between El Camino Real and Mission Road right there at Kaiser where the improvements are happening.

Yes, especially since there’s always a gridlock at Chestnut/ECR during peak hours and traffic is getting worse on Chestnut.
In case of an emergency, there’s no where to move, at section of new Civic area.
Chestnut is not wide enough to handle cross-town traffic or access to Hwy 280/380 via Westborough.
