The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA’s Pets of the Week are Abeggail and Birdadette.
Birds of a feather flock together, especially Guineafowl sisters Abeggail and Birdadette. This adult female duo is looking for a new patch to patrol. Not only are Guineafowl fun pets, but they are perfect natural and organic pest control. In exchange for a safe new home, Abeggail and Birdadette promise to gobble up pesky ticks and mosquitos. They’ll do best in a home with experienced Guineafowl owners who understand their needs and will appreciate (or at least tolerate) their unique bird song.
