Once again the City of South San Francisco will be hosting a City Wide Clean Up allowing neighbors to safely and effectively reduce items they no longer want or need by disposing of them at one of two locations on North Canal Street on September 16th from 9am-4pm. Please help get the word out to our neighbors so we can help everyone get rid of clutter, help others with items they don’t need find a new home, shred your documents to prevent identity theft, and safely dispose of e-waste.

The city promotion for this event reads:
SEPTEMBER 16 CLEAN UP ON N. CANAL
This is your one-stop event to get rid of things you didn’t sell during the citywide garage sale the previous weekend.
Once again, the City is hosting a Fall cleanup day where you can:
* Donate items to the Salvation Army * Dispose of trash (one car load per household)
*Shred five boxes of paper
*Dispose of e-waste, which includes old computers, VCRs, televisions, etc.
The Salvation Army, trash disposal and paper shredding will be at the South San Francisco Corporation Yard, 550 N. Canal Street.
The e-waste event will be at Fire Station #61, 480 N. Canal Street.
