South San Francisco, CA April 6, 2015
On Monday, 4/06/2015 at around 5:39 am, a South San Francisco resident was a victim of an attempted robbery in front of an ATM machine along the 300 block of Linden Avenue. The victim was using the ATM machine and was confronted by an unknown suspect who demanded the victim’s money. The victim did not give any money to the suspect and instead punched the suspect in the face several times. The suspect then pretended to have a firearm in his jacket pocket, but no firearm was actually seen by the victim. The victim sustained a minor laceration to his hand as a result of punching the suspect. The victim left the scene in his vehicle and later contacted the police.
The suspect has not been identified or apprehended at this time.
Suspect Information:
African American male adult with dark skin, approximately 25-35 years old. The suspect was approximately 5’8″ tall and approximately 140-160 lbs. The suspect had short hair and some facial hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a black jack, a black long sleeved T-shirt and dark colored jeans.
