On Sunday evening South San Francisco Police Officers were called to the intersection of El Camino Real and Country Club Drive after receiving multiple calls of a two car collision involving an overturned vehicle. Arriving officers located the driver and passenger of the overturned vehicle, both residents of San Bruno, trapped in the vehicle for approximately 10 minutes before emergency crews could remove them.
South San Francisco Fire Department and County ambulance personnel transported occupants of the vehicles to San Francisco General Hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The 400 and 500 blocks of southbound El Camino Real were closed for approximately one hour during the investigation and clean-up of the scene.
