Helen Fisicaro today announced the endorsement of Alice Bulos, a longtime FilAm Community leader and Democratic activist.
“Helen has been helping The Filipino American community for years, now we need to help her.” said Bulos. “I’m happy to endorse Helen Fisicaro for San Mateo County Supervisor.”
Alice Bulos joins Colma Councilmember Joanne Del Rosario and Mayor Diana Colvin, as well Retired CEO of the Colma-Daly City Chamber of Commerce Mario Panoringan and a number of major Filipino community leaders in endorsing Helen’s candidacy. Helen has a long track record working with the FilAm Community as a Councilmember, Mayor and community volunteer.
“I have spent years on the city council with Helen and worked with her to end domestic violence and improve education for our youth,” said Councilmember and former Mayor del Rosario. “We worked together for The Alliance for Community Empowerment (Allice) Kumares and Kumpares which named her a ‘staunch promoter of access to health and social justice.’ I am happy to join Alice Bulos in endorsing Helen’s candidacy for Supervisor.”
These endorsements along with those of Congresswoman Jackie Speier, County Supervisors Adrienne Tissier, Carole Groom, Warren Slocum and hundreds of community leaders and volunteers add to the momentum building behind Helen’s grassroots campaign for Supervisor.
