On June 14, 2016 at approximately 6:15am, a female victim was standing alone at a bus stop on the 900 block of Grand Avenue. Two male suspects in a gold or brown 4-door sedan stopped near the bus stop and the suspect in the passenger seat exited the vehicle. The suspect approached the victim from behind and tried pulling the victim’s purse from her grasp. The victim resisted and the suspect hit her on the arm and pushed her to the ground before getting away with the victim’s purse. The suspect then got back into the vehicle and they were last seen driving north on Grand Avenue.
The suspect was described as an African-American male between 18-19 years old, approximately 5’6″- 5’7″ tall, average build and black curly hair.
