PREFACE: There are areas of our City that require parking permits in the neighborhood. Neighbors living in the downtown parking district must pay for parking permits is they need to park at the public lots or at parking meters. In addition the City has set a Preferred Parking Permit Ordinance for neighborhoods in the BART area which include portions of Buri Buri and Sunshine Gardens. This information below is from 2004 and gives info on the BART areas only. We will update if/when new information becomes available. We are sharing this now due to neighbor’s asking questions with new developments being built in the area causing more parking issues for existing neighbors.
