On Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at 3:00 AM, a witness reported two male subjects had broken into a business on the 200 block of East Grand Avenue in South San Francisco. Officers responded and located two subjects actively attempting to break into the business. The suspects fled on foot, but were quickly detained by officers. A third suspect was apprehended while waiting in the getaway vehicle.
DEANDRE RIVERA (DOB: 6/22/1994,from Oakland), MICHAEL NELSON (DOB: 7/20/1 992, from Oakland) and DAWAN GRANT (DOB: 217/1994,from Antioch) were all arrested for attempted commercial burglary, conspiracy, vandalism, and resisting arrest, All three subjects were booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City. Two officers sustained minor injuries when taking the suspects into custody.
