The South City All Stars celebrated great success this past weekend during the Bob Munoz Memorial Day Tournament with six wins and one loss as this 8U team got it done declaring their team as Champions!

4-Hit Day for Junior As South City All-Stars 8U Skirts Past Half Moon Bay Pirates to win the championship
South City All-Stars 8U earned the victory despite allowing Half Moon Bay Pirates to score six runs in the fourth inning. Half Moon Bay Pirates’s big inning was driven by singles by #14, #25, and #42 and a double by #20.
South City All-Stars 8U opened up scoring in the first inning. South City All-Stars 8U scored one run when Fia T doubled.
South City All-Stars 8U tallied five runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Junior and Angel B and a home run by Fia.
South City All-Stars 8U smacked one home run on the day. Fia put one out in the second inning.
South City All-Stars 8U tallied 25 hits in the game. Junior, Angel, Jalen M, Jayden T, Jaxon L, Michael O, Damian T, and Fia each managed multiple hits for South City All-Stars 8U. Angel and Junior each managed four hits to lead South City All-Stars 8U. South City All-Stars 8U didn’t commit a single error in the field. Jaxon had the most chances in the field with five.
