This is my friend, Christian Alderete, he passed away, some of my friends and acquaintances on Facebook shared today, [May God have mercy on his soul], joyful man whom I remember very well from our Youth Catholic Group about 19 years ago, more or less, while at the youth group [“Juventud con Cristo”, est. 1992], at All Souls Catholic Church, in South San Francisco, CA.
Back then, we had tournaments of ping-pong, basketball, and even football soccer (I suck as a football player, I leave that to my brother Victor). Christian is about 10 years younger than me, so as an elder of the Juventud Con Cristo Catholic Group, I remember him as a guy who will help out and have compassion for others, kind, joyful, playful, and will help beyond the mile, participated and collaborated in the Friday night meetings, board meetings, and just about anything related to the fundraisers, activities, games, duties and responsibilities of our catholic youth group.

Some of our Reverends while at the youth group were Father Bill Justice, Father Rafael de Avila, Father Santos Rodriguez, among other nuns I cannot remember their names right now.
He, Christian, sadly, passed away, I am not clear or sure what happened to him, it was sudden and tragic apparently for what I investigated. Thus, his family and loved ones are asking for donations for his funeral. Please share and donate to his funeral funds and help for his kids. May your soul rest in the hands of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Note: as a Catholic that we are, I will be praying a novena for my friend Christian. Mary, mother of sorrows pray for us.
