The VFW group that meets at our Lodge coordinated with the 129th Rescue wing. They are the group that flew over the state to honor all of the first responders. They flew with several flags that the VFW is now delivering to groups that support them and other veteran’s causes. We are one of the organizations selected to receive one of the flags. It is an honor to receive this for South San Francisco Elks. It is on display at the bar for now, we are looking for a permanent home in the trophy case.
