On July 7th, 2022, at approximately 7:56 PM, the South San Francisco Police Department received a request to conduct a welfare check on the ten block of Chestnut Avenue. During this welfare check, officers located a deceased male and a deceased female inside the residence.
The preliminary investigation indicated the deaths were the result of a homicide/suicide, following a potential domestic dispute. Both victims were adults and there does not appear to be any other involved parties.
