One of the favorite events enjoyed by residents and visitors alike, is the annual BBQ sponsored by the South San Francisco Cultural Arts Commission at the Fernekes Building at Orange Memorial Park in South San Francisco. This annual event will take place this Sunday, August 28th from 12:30 to 2:30 and the cost is $10 adults and $5 for children.
While this event draws a lot of excitement – this year attendees will be able to enjoy local musicians PaulaClaudine (Hobson-Coard) Mora and Angel Mora of the Love Struck Band, who will be performing at 1:30. They have played with musical luminaries such as Rock & Roll Hall of Famer guitarist Roger Fisher from the Heart band, blues slide guitarist Ron Thompson, and blues bassist Johnny Ace, to name just a few.
PaulaClaudine and Angel, are a husband and wife music duo, and who are the founding members of Love Struck, a South San Francisco-based six-piece band that was formed in 2010. Their music is upbeat and their songs range from Blues to Rock, to R&B and Latin vibes to Pop. Every song has a Love Struck twist to it, whether it’s a cover or an original.
